Who is PTG and what do we do?
PTG = YOU! We're made up of parents, teachers, caregivers, grandparents, aunts/uncles, mentors, and anyone who is directly related to a Joe Henderson student.
Your Joe Henderson PTG is dedicated to raising funds to provide students with exciting programs like STEAM programs and Recess Club, One Book One School, and other tools they need to succeed like 1:1 Chrome Books, and providing teachers with classroom supplies they use, including paying for all copy room paper each year so our teachers don't have to!
The funds we raise also pay for:
- Field Trips
- Art Supplies
- Library Funds
- Playground Equipment
- Safety Patrol
- Outdoor Learning Center
- Teacher requests
- And more!

Come to Meetings
Monthly meetings are open to all parents and attendance is strongly encouraged. Meetings are a great chance to find out about upcoming events, sign up for volunteer opportunities, and stay in touch with what's happening at Joe Henderson. If you are interested in a board position for the next school year, attending meetings now is a terrific way to become acquainted with the PTG. Childcare is provided when meetings are in person!
Meetings are on the First Tuesday of every month.
